Free Workshop at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
Every second Tuesday of the month, the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, in downtown Chicago, hosts a free class. Here, you can learn all about the associated health benefits, as well as some of the history behind qigong.

The Buddhist Temple of Chicago
As one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Chicago, the Buddhist Temple of Chicago (BTC) offers local communities the opportunity to learn various principles at cultural and educational classes.
Swordsmen, martial arts, and buddhism classes are offered in addition to qigong classes every Tuesday morning.

Tai Chi Center of Chicago
After opening its doors in 1994, the Tai Chi Center of Chicago has touched the lives of many passionate individuals across Chicago.
The qigong classes here focus on three key components, including:
- deep, synchronized breathing;
- the ability to calm the mind; and
- the 36 movements associated with the Wellness Qigong Form
This series runs for six weeks, focusing on key areas of the body each week. For example, week one highlights your neck and shoulders, whereas week two focuses on your back and spine.
