YMAA Boston

The mission of YMAA is to both refine and preserve traditional qigong, kung fu, and tai chi.

Sun Tai Chi Institute of Boston

A well-respected institute since 2009, the Sun Tai Chi Institute of Boston offers qigong and tai chi instructions — something they refer to as mind-body movement therapy

Here, Stanwood Chang, the founder and director, focuses on traditional teachings while incorporating progressive fitness movements and concepts.

Dr. Aihan Kuhn

A Chinese medical doctor, Dr. Kuhn is one of the more respected educators of holistic medicine in the world. In addition, she is a qigong and tai chi master, as well as an author and speaker.

Master Yao Li

First beginning his lifelong journey in Taiwan, Master Yao Li began studying qigong and kung fu when he immigrated to America at the age of 14. 

Since then, he has dedicated his life to qigong, yoga, and martial arts, eager to share his knowledge and passion with others. 

In 1990, he co-founded the Boston Kung Fu Tai Chi Institute.
