Katherine Allen is not only an author, but also a qigong practitioner. Teaching qigong since 1992, she is now the vice president and a senior instructor at the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain

She currently holds her level 8 senior instructor of Practical Tai Chi Chuan International, and is well-respected within the qigong community.
